my electrical guitar got stole

days once were when I called her mine
now she's owned by yellow finger Clyde
playing whammy bar noodles with a bottle neck slide

Clyde don't know but for money in the hand
and a thief is a patron just like any other man
so to buy or sell is the only law in pawnshop land

I'll take blood from my finger with a turkey quill pen
write a song of six string sorrow and then
count the days 'til my payments at the pawnshop end
